Counteract

This week we had counteract and Mr. Poltrock came in and he talked to us about violence, alcohol, drugs and bullying. He gave us homework for our parents. We also learned about what to do if someone offers you something bad or asks you to do something wrong and against the law. Here are some of the steps we learned:1. check it out: ask open-ended questions, name the trouble( " That's ---------------------- ––———––––) 2. Talk about the consiquinces: my parents will self, family, school, community. 3. Suggest a positive activity: (Let's play ----------- ––––––— ) 4. Alternative: follow through, leave,and do the positive thing. Move it, sell it, leve the door open.
